Pair of Extraordinary Red Brass Sconces Attributed to EF Caldwell

This pair of beautiful red brass sconces are attributed to EF Caldwell, a pioneer in electric light fixture designing and manufacturing in the late 19th century. The legacy of EF Caldwell & Co. can be seen in lanterns, chandeliers, ceiling and wall fixtures in buildings that were being electrified for the first time and still stand today. These fixtures feature beautiful petal-like details in their wall plates and stems, that hold “melting candlesticks” for a classical touch.

All our antique and vintage lighting is carefully sourced and restored by our knowledgeable Rejuvenation Vintage team at our Portland restoration studio—keeping them out of landfills and giving them new life.
